Art and Cultural organizing

MAKING ART MAKING CHANGE.

Socially engaged art has the power to transform communities.

Through art we know ourselves, can build with each other, and create a shared vision of the world. Socially engaged art is critical to Project Mukti’s mission. Our art projects provide a bold and robust platforms for our vision for our communities. This includes a vision where we are self-determined, healthy, and fully realized past the violence of caste apartheid and the religious fundamentalism.

Our collaborative and participatory artistic process creates a creative space in which we can share, build and learn together as a community.

We adhere to an emergent strategy model where while we hold the following goals as our targets for process, we also want to be nimble to our leadership and allow the camp to also shift and redefine the goals and timelines to best suit our collaborative creative practice.
