Fundraising Manager

Job Description

  • The Fundraising Manager will spearhead fundraising initiatives and build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders. They will work closely with the Director, Communications Manager, and other teams to develop compelling concept notes, project proposals, and other fundraising content that aligns with donor requirements. They will also conduct market research, ensure timely submissions of reports, and organize fundraising events with a particular focus on crowdfunding for events like the Ukkattha Annual Fest.

    • Create fundraising content and reports

    • Manage donor relations and updates

    • Maintain donor database and engage stakeholders

    • Develop and implement fundraising strategies

    • Organize events and crowdfunding campaigns

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, MSW, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

    Experience: A minimum of 5 years in fundraising or direct sales role where you have been personally responsible for the full sales cycle including prospecting, lead development, proposal writing, and responding to RFPs.

    • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

    • Proficiency in using fundraising software and tools.

    • Experience with crowdfunding platforms and strategies.
