Zindagi Fellowship Manager

Job Description

  • The Zindagi Fellowship Manager will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, and oversee the Zindagi Fellowship team and its fellows.

    They will play an integral role in coordinating the fellows' selection, onboarding and developing different aspects of the program from the structure to the syllabus.

    They will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the program, by coordinating with the teams and stakeholders involved.

    • Program Management: Advise fellows, collaborate on program design, and provide remote support to ensure successful fieldwork and business plan development.

    • Administrative Support: Oversee administrative tasks, maintain program records, and serve as a primary point of contact for fellows, staff, and faculty regarding program policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring everyone is informed and compliant.

    • Outreach and Networking: Build partnerships and collaboration with government agencies, organisations, and community groups to foster collaboration and identify funding as well as collaborative opportunities.

    • Recruitment: Identify and enroll potential fellows, promote the program, and mentor staff according to the team's needs.

    • Logistics & Scheduling: Manage travel, meetings, and orientations, and ensure efficient program logistics and budget tracking.

    • Research & Development: Good research skills that can be implemented to develop programs or change structures to impact marginalized communities

    • Data Management: Maintain organized fellowship archives, including agendas, minutes, and outcome reports.

    • Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

    • A minimum of 3 years in fellowship/ program management, or a similar role

    • Excellent organisational communication, research, networking and interpersonal skills
