About the Fellowship

Zindagi Fellowship is a flagship program of Project Mukti. The 4-month online Fellowship empowers young Dalit, Bahujan and Adivasi (DBA) women, gender non-conforming, gender non-binary and transgender folks to take lead in their economic empowerment through language and digital literacy, leadership training, mentoring, networking, professional opportunities, and career and business readiness program.

The fellows are young Dalit, Bahujan and Adivasi cis or trans women who aspire to be an entrepreneur. The fellows are either fresh graduates or aspiring business women who want to promote innovation and positive change in their businesses, organizations, or institutions. 

The goals of Zindagi Fellowship are to build a network of young Ambedkarite women entrepreneurs across India. The Fellowship represents an emerging generation of DBA women entrepreneurs, working professionals and change makers. During the Fellowship, the Fellows have access to professional development opportunities, mentoring, networking and training, and knowledge about various seed funding organizations and investors to support their ideas, businesses, and organizations.

Selection Process: All the applications received will be screened for the basic eligibility requirements. The applications which show that the candidates fulfil the basic eligibility requirements would only be considered for further evaluation by the Selection Committee. Further, the selected candidates will be called for an online interview.
